Leah Casper—Artistic Director, choreographer, dancer, musician This is Leah’s 3rd year as director of 6Degrees. Leah has been a featured dancer with Nicholson-Klein (2010-2012), Front Range Classical Ballet (2013 to present), and has done numerous freelance projects, while recording and performing music. She released her first E.P. in 2014 “A Big Deep Breath”.

Rita CoreyChoreographer and Dancer
Rita performed original works with The Black Dog Theater and Dance Company in eclectic theaters throughout New York City. Corey went on to both choreograph and perform modern dance at Greenfield Community College. She has danced and performed original works with Parallax Performing Arts and Avatar Movement, and danced in the collaborative project Blacklisted.

Steven DeweyPerformance Artist, Musician, Choreographer, and Dancer
Steve is a performance artist, visual artist, musician, art/photography model and teacher. Steve performed with Aminibigcircus out of Baltimore for 10 years. Aminibigcircus brought together groups to collaborate on experimental theater, music and films in theaters, and festivals across the country.
Stephen ChavezVisual and Projection Designer, Website Developer and Adminstrator
Stephen is a tech wizard. He attained a degree in computer science and math, and specializes in information security and software engineering. He likes to work on interesting problems that improve his life and as well as others who may not be able to fix themselves. One interesting problem that he worked on is making his power-wheelchair semi-autonomous. This helped him find a passion in innovation, creating new things for new problems that need to be solved. He likes to mix technology with art as a hobby. He joined Leah's team to learn more about how to make visuals work with dancers and to try out his creative ideas in a different way.

Lorenzo Martinez GomezChoreographer and Dancer
Lorenzo has dedicated his life to creating and sharing art. His early formation was based in differential education. This background has led to his specialty of teaching dance, theater, and social skills to children through the disciplines of dance. Lorenzo carries an advanced degree in art direction from Universidad Mayor of Chile as well as several other certifications having to do with this field. Currently resides in Denver where he works in public schools sharing the importance of art, theater, and dance. He has performed with several dance companies, 6Degrees Collaborative and Transition Theater. Lorenzo hosts dance presentations, takes part in judging panels, and serves as an art director consultant for grand events around Denver.

Dan KotranzaMusician and Drummer Extraordinaire

Christopher MeisChoreographer and Dancer
Christopher started his journey with dance and theater at Red Rocks Community College and attended The American Dance Festival at Duke University NC. There, he learned from Gaspard Lois, from Pilobolus, and Brenda Daniels, a Master of Cunningham Technique. Since ADF Chris has worked with many choreographers from Colorado, Meredith Black-Hudson, Leslie Merrell and Patrick Mueller, to name a few. He has been dancing with Ascential Dance Theater Colorado since 2010 and is excited to be going to Nicaragua to teach.dance and art at their bilingual arts school.
Shane BurkeMusician and Singer-Songwriter
Burke is an internationally recognized singer songwriter, originally from Baltimore, MD. His albums Under the Sun, True Story, and Headlight Skylight are available on CDbaby.com. His music has been featured on “Graceland”. His single I Go Crazy hit was number 25 on Spain’s pop charts and was awarded bronze at the Global Music Awards for best Male Vocals.

Ixchel LevendoskyDancer and Ballet Master
Ixchel has been teaching, choreographing and performing in the northern Colorado region since 1990. Hailing from Wyoming, schooled at the University of Utah, UC Boulder and CSU, and having danced professionally in Oklahoma, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Colorado. Ixchel has studied classical ballet and modern dance with many master teachers. Over the past 20+ years, she has shared her love and knowledge of dance with countless students throughout northern Colorado. Her passion thrives through the direction of her studio, the Front Range Classical Ballet Academy.
